Our team had a few words to say about their own mums for Mother’s day

With Mother’s Day around the corner, we wanted to get to know a bit more about the mums of our practitioners and how they have shaped them into the amazing people they are today.

At the start of February, we asked the team to send us a photo of themselves with their mum, along with a few words of appreciation to share with us how their mum has helped them professionally and personally. What we received was a beautiful collection of touching, meaningful, and grateful testimonies. We loved reading them, and hopefully, you will too!

“Mom and daughter, two the most important people in my life. A big one taught me how to be always the best version of myself, she is always supportive and positive. A little one, a motivation and inspiration, always giving me that spark needed to step an extra mile. Unconditional love for both of them.”

“From the earliest days of nurturing and encouragement to the present, she has been my rock, always believing in me even when I doubted myself. Her wisdom, patience, and love have propelled me forward, shaping my aspirations and helping me navigate life’s challenges with resilience and determination. I am filled with profound gratitude for the sacrifices and tireless dedication my mother has shown in ensuring I have the best opportunities in life. Her relentless work ethic, often sacrificing her own needs for mine, has paved the way for my education and personal growth. Today, I honor her resilience, love, and unwavering support, knowing that every achievement I make is a testament to her sacrifices.

Mother: The greatest source of strength”

“Growing up I don’t think I realised just how much you did to keep our day to day life running so smoothly. Since I became a mother myself I am in awe of everything you did for us. And I admire you all the more. Thank you for always being my biggest cheerleader.”

“Mum… I probably don’t tell you enough how much I love you and what an inspiration you have been to me. I’m so lucky to have an incredible mum who has helped me grow and become the person I am today. The one thing that will always stay with me is how much you care for others, nothing is ever too much and let’s not forget that you make amazing schnitzel’s. I couldn’t do what I do without you and your support while I do my osteopathy degree is priceless. No words or thanks will ever be enough but thank you. Love you mum xxx”

“I wouldn’t have even have known about chiropractic if it wasn’t for my Mum. Having a knee injury at 16 that had kept me from doing the Sports Science degree I felt destined to do, I felt pretty lost, not knowing what direction to go in. My mum started getting treatment from a local chiropractor, Chris Turner, who once hearing about my interest in anatomy, physiology and generally wanting to know more about the body, invited me to observe him for a day. The rest is history! Thank you, mum, for always supporting and believing in me, for the grounding and for making the tough times more manageable. 15 years ago I started AHC and the first treatment bench was bought by my mum, the same bench everyone treated by me in Maidenhead is still treated on.

Ti voglio bene”
