Maisie’s MK Half Marathon – Why Wait?
Maisie’s decision to run the Milton Keynes Half Marathon came about when her dad and stepmum were unable to take part due to injuries — and rather than let their race spots go to waste, she stepped in. Although relatively new to running, she’d already signed up for the Bath Half next year and thought, why wait?
With just four weeks of consistent training — and plenty of support and advice from our team — Maisie took on the challenge. Race day nerves kicked in (she hadn’t run further than 17km before!), but with her dad, the Active Health team, family and friends cheering her on, she gave it her all.
Her goal was to run by feel rather than focus on the clock, aiming for a sub-2-hour finish… and she crossed the line in an amazing 1:49! Running into Stadium MK and spotting her dad in the crowd, followed by that unforgettable medal moment, made it all worthwhile.

Now, she’s officially hooked. The next goal is a sub-45-minute 10K. This experience has shown Maisie that the only limits we have are the ones we place on ourselves. So, why wait for the “right” moment?
Start now!
Krish smashed her first 10K at Dorney Lake
Krish smashed her first 10K at Dorney Lake! She took on the challenge simply to see if she could — and as a stepping stone towards an even bigger goal: her first marathon in Amsterdam this October. Running a marathon has long been on her bucket list. She loves how running clears her mind, supports her mental health, and gives her that much-needed “me time”.

Ready for something new, she embraced the challenge — and this is just the beginning. With the 10K under her belt, training is in full swing, and there’s still plenty of time to get marathon-ready. Go on, girl — we’re cheering you all the way!
Rosie Takes on Ride the Night London 2025!
Some of you already know that Rosie is a huge fan of cycling – she’s a proud member of the Bia Cycling Club and is often spotted out on her bike.
Last Saturday night, she took on an incredible challenge: Ride the Night London 2025 – a 100km night ride from Windsor Racecourse to central London and back.
This is the second time she has completed the event with her sister Mel. Both Rosie and Mel have had breast cancer in the past and last year they had to withdraw as Mel was diagnosed for a second time. Thankfully, they are both fit and well now.
They set off just after 9pm with a nearly full moon on a glorious evening and were enjoying the sights of Westminster, the City and the London Eye around midnight before returning to Windsor at 3am.

Not only did they complete the distance with determination and a smile, but they also did it for a great cause, raising funds for a women’s cancer charity.
Well done, Rosie & Mel – we’re so proud of you!!
Rosie’s next cycling challenge is on 21st June – Chase the Sun – South. A 205 mile (330km) ride starting on the Isle of Sheppey at Sunrise (04.40am) and riding to the pier at Weston-super-Mare with the aim of arriving before Sunset (21.30) – up to 17 hours in the saddle! Good Luck with that one Rosie!
