About Nila

Nila is a fully qualified acupuncturist with over 10 years of clinical experience in Maidenhead, helping people manage pain, improve wellbeing, and restore balance through evidence-informed acupuncture.

Growing up in a family of medical doctors, healthcare was always part of everyday life. This gave Nila an early appreciation of the importance of listening to people, understanding their individual experiences, and recognising that no single approach to healthcare is right for everyone.

Her interest in acupuncture grew from a belief that the body has an incredible capacity to heal when given the right support. Today, she enjoys helping people take a holistic approach to their health, supporting both physical and emotional wellbeing through personalised acupuncture treatment.

Qualifications & Professional Memberships

Nila trained at the renowned College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, completing a three-and-a-half-year programme before graduating with a Licentiate in Acupuncture (Lic.Ac) and a First Class BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture awarded by Kingston University.

She is a proud member of the Association of Acupuncture Clinicians (AAC) and is registered with the British Acupuncture Federation (BAF).

Nila’s Approach to Care

Every person is unique, which is why Nila believes every treatment should be too.

She combines the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Five Element Acupuncture to understand not only a patient’s symptoms but also the underlying patterns that may be contributing to them.

Her aim is to create an environment where the body’s own healing processes can flourish. By using fine, sterile needles placed at carefully selected acupuncture points, treatment is designed to restore balance, reduce pain, improve function, and support overall wellbeing.

Patients often appreciate Nila’s calm, thoughtful approach and the time she takes to understand their individual needs and goals.

Conditions Commonly Treated

Nila regularly supports patients with a wide variety of conditions, including:

Whether you’re looking for support with a long-standing condition or a more recent problem, treatment is always tailored to your individual circumstances.

Outside the Clinic

Alongside her work as an acupuncturist, Nila works as an analyst within a government department. Having experienced the demands of office life herself, she understands the physical strain of prolonged sitting, screen work, and workplace stress, allowing her to relate to many of the challenges her patients face.

Away from work, she’s a keen tennis player and enjoys spending weekends on court whenever she can. When she’s not playing, you’ll usually find her watching professional tennis and supporting her favourite players.
