About Nick
Nick has been an S&C coach for over 10 years working in youth athletic development, patient rehabilitation, and with everyday athletes aiming to become stronger and more robust.
When he’s not coaching or vo2 max testing, he’s probably either training himself or being dragged around by his Hungarian Vizsla (dog).
Having coached for over a decade, Nick has worked with a wide variety of clients from professional stunt performers and European champion athletes to rehab patients aiming to move pain-free. Regardless of your background, Nick will be able to help you towards your goal.
Qualifications and Experience
Nick studied Sport and Exercise Science as an undergraduate followed by a masters degree in Strength & Conditioning at Leeds Beckett University.
Nick is a member of the UKSCA and is one of their accredited S&C coaches.
Treatment Philosophy / Approach to Care
Nick’s approach to injury rehab involves strength training to make the patient more resilient and less likely to be injured again in the future. He prioritises technique before increasing load, and puts structure in place to allow the patient to develop their physical qualities. He does not buy into fads or quick-fixes. He focuses on principles that actually support performance and/or rehab to generate real results.
