Jumaane graduated from the University of Worcester with a degree in Sports Therapy; after experience in placements with Worcester Warriors Rugby Team, Worcester Wolves BBL Basketball team, Severn Stars Super League Netball team and Worcester University American football team.
During the months with these teams he provided pitchside support including trauma support and preventative injury and rehabilitation plans.

In addition he worked as a Sports therapist in both trauma clinic and Injury clinic and hydrotherapy before graduating.

Jumaane continues to work as part of the Severn Stars Netball team as Sports Therapist and continues; as he has the past three years to provide Sports Therapy to an elite International track athlete.

Jumaane’s passion is sport and a desire to help those participating; prevent and overcome injury to return to full recovery and meet their full potential. He also has a keen interest in women’s and disability sport.

Jumaane has participated in many Sports, Basketball, Running, Judo, Rugby to name a few and competed for Surrey County Basketball against Wales. In University Jumaane was a member of the Basketball team and Rowing team. Jumaane was selected to join the World class Rowing program where he trained 6 days per week and competed in the British rowing Championships.

Jumaane’s enthusiasm for sport, has meant he has travelled as a spectator to two Olympic games, Commonwealth games, World and European athletics championships, NBA basketball games, NFL games and countless other competitions in various sports.

As part of the Active health clinics team, Jumaane will bring a variety of experiences from working within competitive sports and in a neurology clinic setting.
